Whilst we need to focus on extending our customer base into the wider market, our focus still firmly lies in the agricultural sector where we have built strong relationships over the years. We need Agents who can nurture these relationships and take them from strength to strength.
You’ll spend a significant amount of your time working as an Agent for NFU Mutual, providing expert insurance advice and managing the Agency office and staff, or supporting the Senior Agent in doing this. Alongside this, as a representative of the farming union, you’ll ensure we have a high and valued profile within the area, connecting with farmers, growers, stakeholders and the rural community. This will be achieved by communicating policies and services, recruiting and retaining members, and being involved in arranging events for members. The two roles go hand-in-hand, with many of your clients being both customers of NFU Mutual and members of the union.
