We encourage our Agents to undertake professional qualifications. The CII (Chartered Institute of Insurance) is the premier professional organisation for those working in the insurance and financial services industry. It's dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and integrity through the provision of relevant qualifications for employees at all levels across all sectors of the industry.
The ACII (Advanced Diploma in Insurance) is for those people who aspire to senior positions within the industry. It provides an enhanced understanding of insurance practice, both in terms of technical subject matter and overall management skills.
If you're interested in gaining these qualifications, then NFU Mutual will support you all the way. We'll provide financial support to assist existing Agents which consists of reimbursement of:
- The cost of one reading, correspondence or continuous assessment course for each examination subject.
- The examination fee applicable to the examination subject.
A study contract will need to be arranged and signed for all candidates working towards the CIP or ACII.
